Terms of Agreement

WeInstallCameras.Net Member Agreement

Thank you for applying to the WeInstallCameras.Net member installation network. Your application will be reviewed and the approval process can take up to 10 business days. Once accepted, WeInstallCameras.Net will contact you in regards to specific installation and/or repair service needs and mutual agreed upon installation labor rates.  You understand that as a WeInstallCameras.Net member, you are not a partner, agent or representative of WeInstallCameras.Net customers, and your business relationship is only with WeInstallCameras.Net.  WeInstallCameras.Net, upon it’s sole discretion and at anytime without probable cause or reason, has the right to deny this application or agreement, or to assign work to any network member, or terminate your membership.

From beginning to end, let WeInstallCameras.Net manage every customer interaction to their satisfaction. Do not allow any misunderstanding with the customer, questions regarding equipment or additional parts diminish or de-value the overall experience for you or the customer!  Our #1 priority is to Delight The Customer, so do not allow any issue to come up to the attention of the customer without WeInstallCameras.Net having the knowledge first, so we can work to resolve the issue, prior to involving the customer.  If there is ever an issue with the customer’s satisfaction or yours satisfaction as a network member, call WeInstallCameras.Net  at 1-888-448-9804.

Customer Scheduling and Communications

When scheduling customer installations, time is of the essence. WeInstallCameras.Net  must be able to contact you during normal business hours for service work requests.  Voice Mail messages are acceptable, however, calls must be returned by the end of the business day. You should make every effort to confirm and schedule installation and service calls swiftly for the customer. Schedule customer installations the same as you would for any customer, for which we have the pleasure to serve.  WeInstallCameras.Net understands that you may have other customers to serve, however, it is our expectation that you extend all the same professional courtesy to a WeInstallCameras.Net customer, as you would for your own customer.

Description of Work Performed

To ensure we meet customer expectations, make sure you understand and adhere  to the scope of work described on each Purchase Order.   Upon completing the installation, any unused camera equipment, instruction manuals, product packaging or unused installation parts (ie…camera cables and  mounting brackets) must be returned to the customer.

Protect Yourself and Your Business

Before beginning any installation, you are required to do a basic inspection on the installation conditions, to protect yourself and your business.  You should take pictures before and after the installation of any installation conditions that are concerning to you as an installer, that could affect the quality of your workmanship, safety or your ability to execute the scope of work (SOW) described on the Purchase Order. You may use the WeInstallCameras.Net form. Please be advised that in any given disagreement regarding your  work quality or pre-installation conditions of the customers home or business, without proof to the contrary, WeInstallCameras.Net will have to side with the customer.  This pre-inspection process is expected by each of our customers for which we build and maintain our relationship.

You Must have a Purchase Order

For any and all labor or service work performed by a network member installer, you MUST have a Purchase Order to get paid.  Due to company policy and commercial law, it is all-important that all installs be covered by a Purchase Order in the name of your business.  If WeInstallCameras.Net contacts you via phone or email to confirm and installation or service call, a Purchase Order (PO) will be emailed to you subsequently. Under no circumstances should you begin any work without first confirming you have a Purchase Order.  If you lose the Purchase Order, notify WeInstallCameras.Net immediately so we can re-send it to you.   PLEASE NOTE:  If you perform a install or service call with no PO, you risk NOT RECEIVING PAYMENT for that work.  I

Keep Payment Amounts Confidential

Customers do not understand the economics from beginning to end, so it’s better not to try and explain payment structure. Do NOT tell the customer what WeInstallCameras.Net is paying you. Treat the installation as scope of work for which you are being paid per the PO. Provided.  There might be  instances where additional amounts can be charged, if approved in advance by WeInstallCameras.Net, but generally if you cannot do the work WeInstallCameras.Net assigns to you without charging more to the customer directly, then your business is likely not a good fit for WeInstallCameras.Net. (Our customer survey responses will indicate if they were charged additional).  In those instances, approved by WeInstallCameras.Net, you will be permitted to charge extra for labor or materials directly to the customer, however, you MUST inform the customer in advance of the additional amount required, before starting the work.

Forbidden and Acceptable Selling

WIC.Net has zero-tolerance policy regarding the selling of any “same category” products or services as WeInstallCameras.Net.  You are strictly prohibited from attempting to sell the customer the same category of products being installed per the PO from WeInstallCameras.Net.  Likewise, even encouraging the customer to return the product to WeInstallCameras.Net is also forbidden with zero-tolerance.  (YOUR BUSINESS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE NETWORK).  Outside of that category, WeInstallCameras.Net encourages network installers to sell additional products and services you provide and to make add-on sales while you are at the customer location.

You Must Warranty Your Work

You are required to warranty your labor for one (1) full year from the date of installation. 

Whenever an installation issue arises, WeInstallCameras.Net will attempt to direct the customer back to you for investigation and repair. Over 90% of issues are taken care of by the WeInstallCameras.Net Member with no additional payment made by WeInstallCameras.Net or the Customer. However, in some cases the customer is unable to, or demands not to, have the same installer perform troubleshooting or repairs. In some cases, they develop a distrust or dislike of the original installer and request a new installer to make the repairs. Despite our best efforts to use the original installer, it sometimes just not possible. In cases where a new installer must get involved, and our investigation determines faulty workmanship, it is quite possible WeInstallCameras.Net may “escrow” the payment for work done until the conclusion of the investigation and repairs.

Defective Product Processes

During installation, if any product is appears to be Dead On Arrival (DOA)  or non-working, the technician is to immediately contact and notify  WeInstallCameras.Net, of this issue so we can begin the troubleshooting process.  The installer is required to allow WIC.Net and it’s affiliates to try and resolve the equipment issue first, along with the on-site installation technician.  If any piece of CCTV equipment is deemed DOA between the installer and WeInstallCameras.Net, WeInstallCameras.Net will place the PO into a “pending installation” category and will communicate a resolution with the customer.   In this rare scenario, a trip-charge may be warranted for the installer to make a return trip to the customer to complete the installation.

Encourage Customer to Take our Customer Survey

WIC.Net  uses customer surveys that are emailed to the customer shortly after you complete the installation work. You should mention this to the customer and encourage them to take the survey as that is the most effective way for you, our WeInstallCameras.Net Member, to get high customer-satisfaction scores which will improve your chances of getting future work assignments.

Carry Proper Insurance

Any damages that occur while the customer’s vehicle is in your custody are your responsibility. You must always have proper insurance coverage with a current certificate of insurance on file with WeInstallCameras.Net.  All WeInstallCameras.Net Members must carry a Liability policy with minimum $1M protection coverage. You MUST have InstallerNet Named as Additional Insured. Email certificates of Insurance to WIC.Net at memberservices@WeInstallCameras.Net. A valid W-9 (Taxpayer Identification Number) Form must also be completed and forwarded to above. We must have all requested/required documentation on file to send you installation work.

Background Checks

No WeInstallCameras.Net  member employee shall be permitted to go onsite to a residence or business unless that employee has a current background check on file (WeInstallCamera.Net’s clients are permitted to request a copy of a background check at random). The background check must, at minimum, cover:

Background search must be for a period going back at least 7 years, to all counties lived in.

  • Must include:
    • Search of 50-State Sex Offender Registry
    • Federal Criminal
    • Social Security Search
    • Super Criminal Search
    • County Criminal Search (up to 40 counties)
  • Key points of adjudication:
    • No Felonies allowed
    • No Sex Offenses allowed

Communications with Clients

With rare contractual exceptions, WeInstallCameras Net does not permit its clients to communicate with, schedule, or pay WeInstallCameras.Net Members directly. If our client(s) contact your business directly to discuss potential work or payment you should immediately report this to WeInstallCameras.Net. There are some situations where client communications with your business are allowed and for those you will receive notification from WeInstallCameras.Net that these programs are exempt. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the direct payment rule, accepting payments directly from our client will jeopardize your Membership with WeInstallCameras.Net.

No Business Guarantee

WeInstallCameras.Net is unable to promise any Member a minimum quantity of business. Likewise, you are not under any obligation to accept a purchase order from WeInstallCameras.Net  unless you can agree to the pricing, timing and terms listed on it. Make sure that WeInstallCameras.Net  has your updated contact information, and those customers are satisfied with your work performance. Work assignments are given based on the highest rated installer in your area.

Code of Conduct

WeInstallCameras.Net  members are expected and required to always maintain a professional level of conduct while in the presence of an WeInstallCameras.Net customer or client. All work performed will be of a safe, secure, and professional manner. All personal information discovered in performing the service event is confidential and may only be used for the purposes of performing the service event as described on the purchase order.
